FR clothing is essential equipment for many workers in potentially hazardous workplaces, but it’s not enough to simply wear FR clothing, the clothing must fit the individual, and only by wearing well-fitting fire-resistant workwear can you get the most out of your workwear and help keep you safe at work. Does your workwear fit well and will it do its job at work? If you don’t want to wear a full set of workwear, choose one of our safety work pants below.
These safety BiB work pants are cotton-backed trousers with a 9oz outer layer of 88% cotton/12% nylon canvas and a 19oz quilted cotton inner layer, stitched with a fiber flame retardant aramid thread, with adjustable shoulder straps that can be adjusted to suit your body shape. The main purpose of the nylon canvas fabric is to prevent tears caused by friction. We all know that canvas is not only hard-wearing but also very resistant to dirt, so it will last longer than ordinary clothing. The shoulder straps are made of aramid and the buckles are heat resistant. The whole pair of trousers contains a flame retardant element to minimize the risk of flame damage.
The Fire retardant bib pants are suitable for wearing at work all year round. In winter when working outdoors you can choose a bib with a lining, such as the one we have described above. If you work in warmer locations or in the summer you may want to choose unlined bibs and overalls to make your work more comfortable and less burdensome. If you are looking for this type of workwear you can contact us and we will be happy to help you.
